Royal Promise
Anger has become his master
With its force he rises faster
Quicker than the forces that
Kept him as the master’s pet
Anger has become the source
He taps into that causal force
For to conquer dissatisfaction
Anger rules his pointed action
The child’s master is himself
Rich with transcendent wealth
For he has risen beyond the past
Entering eternity at last
The ancient child knowingly rests
While the man competes with ambitious quests
What glorious kingdom does he resort to own?
What wondrous wisdom will remain unknown?
The child offers his lighted hand
To the still self-determined man
Without expectation or desiring control
The prodigy beckons the human soul
If that soul could touch the angry mind
A troubled past would fall behind
A present full for future asking
Wherein the child’s dream is king
